The Spirodoc® Spiro with Oximetry is an all round respiratory diagnostic and monitoring tool that is used in a variety of clinical applications for COPD, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and sleep oximetry. With a range of testing modes available, the Spirodoc can be configured for use in a clinical environment for routine spirometry, 6 minute ambulatory walk tests and general oximetry. It is able to connect wirelessly to a PC via Bluetooth® (or directly via USB) using the free MIR WinspiroPRO® PC Software. This allows for spirometry or oximetry testing in real-time, and downloading of test results stored on the device.

The device can also be pre-configured for patient’s to use at home for in depth monitoring of their respiratory health. When set to patient mode, the patient will experience a simplified user interface enabling them to carry out their own spirometry tests with ease. The patient is also prompted to complete an ‘eDiary’, answering simple questions about their symptoms that correlates with any tests recorded for that day. Results are stored on the device for further analysis by a healthcare professional.

The Spirodoc is also ideal for continuous oxygen saturation monitoring. The device automatically measures physical activity as well as body position at the same time as it records desaturation events while standing, walking or sleeping.

The Spirodoc can easily be transformed from a spirometer to an advanced pulse oximeter by removing the detachable flow head and plugging in the oximetry sensor. The central unit features a high resolution touch screen display and is powered by its long life internal rechargeable battery. It has built in memory with the capability of storing up to 10,000 tests. .
