Fire Safety Training - Onsite - Up to 12 People
This course covers the key elements of a fire, safety precautions and the role of a fire marshal / warden. It provides you with the knowledge of the different types of fire extinguisher, when to use them and how to use them correctly.
You will be continually assessed throughout the duration of the course by one of our qualified trainers. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Fire Safety Awareness Certificate valid for three years.
The practical elements of this course are essential as they provide you with vital hands-on experience. It is important that you are physically able to take part in the practical parts of the course.
The HSE requires you to attend the full duration of the course to be eligible for evaluation.

What will I learn?
The content of this course has been designed to build knowledge and confidence. It will give you an understanding of the fire regulations and the correct precautions to take.
The course covers the following topics:
- Common causes of fire
- The elements of fire (The fire triangle)
- The three means of putting out a fire
- The Different types & colours of the Extinguishers
- Occasions when you should or should not use each type of extinguishers
- The use of fire extinguishers
- Action in the outbreak of fire – escape routes and fire doors
- What to do when you discover a fire and being aware of your role in the event of a fire
- Demonstrating the use of fire extinguishers
One of our trainers will deliver this course at your premises on a date of your choice. The timings could also be arranged to suit your requirements.
