Intellisense® adult defibrillation pads are recommended for patients 9 years of age and older or over 55lbs (25kg). They are non-polarized, meaning they can be placed in either position on the chest, reducing confusion and saving time during a rescue. Using the pad connector embedded circuitry, the Powerheart® G5 quickly and automatically detects the adult pad, and automatically adjusts to adult energy protocols and CPR requirements.
